My blogging experience

I really enjoyed my blogging experience, because It helped me to think about things that I usually don´t do. For example, I didn´t think about what was my favorite picture, and now I know it´s one photo that describes my passion for summer, the beach and my sport. Other thing that I appreciate is this blog helped to distract me from a lot of stressful things that I have to do in the week.
The blog helped me to improve my English so much, because I think that this activity forced us to write about many things that we usually don´t tell to anybody, and it´s really difficult write about this thing, in English! I´ll make another example. It´s too difficult choose a favorite picture, but more difficult is write 280 words about it, because most of us think that one photo doesn´t give us so much to talk. That´s why I think is a great exercise for improve our English.
Making a balance about the advantages and disadvantages, I evaluate this activity in class as an innovator method for English learning, because we use the virtual technology that is a new way of communication for our generation, so is too useful learn this language with this program. Other advantage of this method is that we get more fun, because internet is one of the most popular ways of entertainment, so it´s more comfortable than get sit for two hours and look how the teacher try to make the students speaks only a phrase. Finally, a really important thing is that I saw all my classmates doing something interactive, and we don´t waste the time doing other things apart the blog.
The only disadvantage is that we can make a lot of mistakes and the teacher could not correct us all our mistakes in only one hour.

My favorite pictures

My favorite picture is one taken by Italo Hevia, one of my friends in USTO rugby club. That photograph shows me when I was playing rugby five a side with my friends in Viña del Mar, we were in the "Sports beach" of Viña del Mar and it was taken on February 20^th.

I like this photo because it brings me good memories about my summer. I remember that it was 6 AM when I took the subway and met my friends to go by car to Viña del Mar. I never thought that playing in the sand was so exhausting, but it´s too hard running when your feet sink into the sand. Viña Rugby Club got the first place, and we got the third in the tournament, but they didn´t give us any medal. Anyway, we enjoyed it so much, because they gave us shirts of the tournament and organized a big barbecue after the event. But the funniest thing of that day was the party that “Mano sportswear” organized for us.

Viña de Mar at night is so funny, because there is a lot of discos and pubs that you can visit and enjoy. We went to “Buffalo Restobar” and we drank some beers for free, because “Mano sportswear” paid the drinks. Then we went with the other teams to a disco, and it was for free too. The party lasted all the night, and we were back in Santiago the next day.

So, that´s why I love this photo, because it expresses my love for this sport, and it shows me playing it in one of my favorite places to go with friends or family: the beach.

My favorite festivity

My favorite festivity is the week of september 18th, because it is the funniest week of the year.
I usually spend this festivity with my family, because in this kind of days I like to go out with my parents and my brother and sisters.
In that week, I like to go out with my family to some "fondas" in Santiago, specifically in Parque Intercomunal of La Reina. When we go to this fonda, we like to see the show that they prepared for the public. Then we go to eat some "empanadas", "anticuchos" and drink the famous "chicha". Chicha is a kind of fermented wine that the Chileans use to drink, specially in this festivities.
As I said, I usually go out with my family, but last year, I went to a friend´s house, in Calera de tango. We went to the local fonda and we ate a lot of anticuchos and drank beer and chicha. The fonda had a karaoke, so we went to sing (we sucked, except for my friend´s sister´s friends) and we enjoyed it so much. I remember that I got lost in the trip to Calera the tango, but then it didn´t matter, because that fonda was too funny.
Something I would like to do for this festivity is to go with a lot of friends to any fonda, or organize a big barbecue in my house, but I think it is too dificult to do, because all of my friends go out with the family.

My favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology is my laptop. My father gave it to me when I was seventeen years old and I graduated from school.
In general, it is my favorite object, because it is the most useful thing that I have in my room. I use it to study, do homework, write essays, comunicate with my friend by chat, listen to music and play some video games.
I use my laptop every day, because I have to do so many works for the University and I need to talk with my classmates when it´s a grupal work. But when I don´t have anything to do for the University, I use it anyway, because I like to chat with my friends and know about them by facebook. And finally, when I have nothing to do in the day, I like to play my video games in my laptop, because I don´t have any videogame console. That´s why I use my laptop every day.
My life without it would be too complicated. I would have to do my work in my notebook or use the family PC, and that would be awful, because everyone wants to use it. I love my laptop.

My best friend

My best friend is Pedro Portales.
One day, my family wanted to visit my uncle Carlos, because we didn´t visit him so much. I knew that my uncle has a new family and he was living in Vitacura. So, we visited him and I met Pedro, the stepson of my uncle. He was a funny child who likes to irritate my uncle. We talked about cartoons and we played football all day. We are friend since 1996, we consider him like one of our family and he is like brothers from that day.
He is my best friend because he´s the oldest friend that I have and he is with me when I need him, and I´m whit him when he needs me.
We do a lot of things together, we play football with our friends, go out to discos and partys, present girls each other, and we like to do barbecues and drink some beers when the chilean football team plays any match.

Henry Fayol

I admire Henry Fayol, who was born in 1841, Estambul. He was an engineer and companys administracion theorist.
He graduated from civil engineering in mines in 1860 and he got a charge in the Commentry Fourchamault anounymus society. In 1888 he was the general director of this company, because he was considered a ciences man when he presented an inform about the alteration and spontaneous combustion of the coal when it is exposed to the air. He retired in 1918 with 58 years old.
But his best aport was in the administration thought, when he published in France his book called "Industrial and general administration" in 1916, where he created an administrative model based in cheking the process, making experiences and extracting rules. He written in 1921 other book too, it was called "Industrial Incapaciy of the State", where he defended the ideas of the companys freedom in front of the economical interventionof the State.
I like him because is one of the most importnant administration theorist and we use his ideas to make an administration process. He established the school of the administration process of the administration.

My favorite vacation place

Last summer, I went to La Serena for two weeks and it is the most fun place to go in summer, because you can do a lot of things there. There is a beach near the city where you can play some sports like volleyball and surf and, the most important, see the girls. There is a big shopping center where you can find anything to buy. There are some boulevards in the city, and one of them is the famous "Recova", where you can see a lot of handicrafts. There are a lot of restaurants too, where you can eat good food near the beach or eat in the city center. But the most important for a guy is the night, and there are come discos where you can go out with your friend at night.
That is why I think that La Serena is my favourite place to go on vacation, because it is a good place togo with your friends or family, and there is much fresh air too.
